This proposal will not improve quality or availability of mental health services at a time when the need is very high. I am a MFT graduate from Virginia Tech, which is a COMFTE program and an excellent one.  I have been in private practice for over 10 years in the Commonwealth of VA.  If this law is enacted, I will have to leave the state and practice in MD or DC.
