My passport will expire next year.  But I will be the same person.    My driver's license has my photo and does show my address.  But if I showed up at an incorrect voting precinct I wouldnot be on the rolls and would have to vote a conditional ballot.  My old voter ID card confirmed my precinct even if it didn't have a picture.  I was "in the system."  There is no reason to make it more difficult to vote.  We should encourage participation in governing instead of setting up obstacles.
