When did we become a society so concerned with political correctness that even opinions and creativity are squashed like bugs? Popular literature for school aged children is rife with objectionable material. (Hello! The Hunger Games centers around children killing each other for entertainment!) Why not do something that makes more sense, like create a rating system similar to that of movies. A book rated PG-13, for example, wouldn't be taught in grades 7 or under. This is the beginning of a dangerous path for the world of education and novels.
