Please reject this amendment that proposes censorship in schools.  As a parent, I should be educated and care enough that if I feel a topic/subject is inappropriate for my child, I should address it with the teacher/school leadership.  Many great works of literature have controversial topics that children, at the appropriate age, can learn from... to censor these works which my inspire and teach our children would truly be sad.
