Permanent Abortion Facility Regulations Help Protect Women’s Health

I strongly support the current regulations on abortion centers approved overwhelmingly by the Board of Health.  These regulations should be made permanent and continue to include the strongest standards.

If Abortion Clinics are performing invasive surgical procedures they should be held to the same standards as any hospital or doctor's office that performs surgery. It's only common sense.

If you say that abortion is healthcare and that the abortion industry povides low cost medical options for the poorest of the poor, then doesn't it stand to reaso that poor women deserve the same standards of care that more affluent people are afforded in any surgical center in this country? Or should we provide substandard care and standards to them because they are poor?

Protect women - both poor and affluent - by providing safe, sterile and regulated procedures for EVERY clinic or hospital that provides surgical procedures of any kind.
