I strongly support these safety regulations for clinics providing abortions. I do not support abortion but every woman undergoing this type of surgery deserves protection from harm that can come from unsanitary conditions or lack of ability to treat an emergency. That to me is just common sense. If opponents of these regulations insist that other clinics do not have the same regulations then maybe they should change that. It would be better for all to be safe than to have health jeopardized by unhealthy conditions.
