I'm a democrat and I am for the regulations.  Let's be honest-- people who say that they 'care' for women should already have argued to get clinics in line with standard facility regulations, such as the requirement that hallways are wide enough for a guerney/stretcher to fit through.  Like it or not, let's make these facilities safer and take away arguments to close them-- and since hundreds of ambulance calls have gone out to these clinics, then if we are sincere, we ought to make them safer for these mothers.  Again, in all honesty, they aren't dental clinics...

The whole 'back alley' argument doesn't hold water.  Abortions are legal and available in many places, not just in Virginia.  Why would we want to have crummy places for our women?  Seriously?  I find it funny in a gross way that those people who say they care are defending their 'right' to have a lower quality, inferior facility for women to go to.
