Action | Regulations for Licensure of Abortion Facilities |

We live in 2013. Women are supposedly fully equal members of American (and Virginian) society.
Yet these TRAP regulations insist that women are incapable of making their own informed decisions about their own bodies.
Please do not deny the women of Virginia access to *full* reproductive rights, including the right, when appropriate for each woman, of abortion. The TRAP regulations impose unnecessary regulations which are designed *solely to deny women access to abortion.* They are not necessary for health or safety. Yet they will serve to shut down facilities that are serving the needs of women in Virginia.
This is a secular nation; religious beliefs have no role in legislative/governmental actions. This is Virginia, the home of Thomas Jefferson, author of the Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom. There is no place for restrictions on women's rights based not on science, not on the necessity of protecting health and safety, but simply on the desire by people motivated by religious belief to prevent women from having full control over their own reproductive health.
TRAP is not ethical; TRAP is not necessary; TRAP is not appropriate.
