TRAP Regulations

In the name of equality and concern for safety, I advocate that the Administration of Governor Bob McDonnell place itself between men and men's doctors, and use the government of the Commonwealth of Virginia to regulate men's sexual and reproductive health.  All men must be required by law to apply to, be approved and monitored by the government before and during participation in any sexual conduct that might result in the fertilization of an egg.  If there is no sperm, there is no risk of a fertilized egg, and no need to use this phony excuse of being concerned for women's health as a reason to discriminate against women and prevent them from sound medical treatments, the decisions for which are made in private with their doctors.

Unfortunately, for those people who dwell in religious idealogy, we live in a secular society and are governed by a secular government.  Governnor Bob McDonnell's administration and his supporters (who are the minority on this issue) need to keep their religious and misogynistic beliefs at bay so the rest of us are able to access medical care with our dignity and privacy respected, and our health considered by genuine medical professionals, not those elected officials - or appointed public servants - who mistake themselves for religious leaders sent by God to pass harmful regulations that constitute TRAP.  Virginia Republicans have done enough to embarrass Virginia citizens.  They have embarrassed us, but they need not harm us.  For women's health, for my health, do not pass TRAP.
