I write with grave concern over the pending TRAP laws that would severely limit a woman's right & access to essential health care services.  As written, the TRAP laws are purely ideological & lead to medically inappropriate and financially burdensome regulations that restrict access to essential health care services for the women of Virginia.  The high standard of care provided by women's health centers is proven by their impressive safety record. Abortion is one of the safest medical procedures.

While I understand that it is possible for people of good faith to disagree on the 'morality' of abortion, the way to reduce abortions is through comprehensive sex education & wide access to birth control, not through over-regulating & limiting the rights of grown, responsible women & their ability to make the best decisions for their families.  

The Virginia state motto is 'Sic semper tyrannis'.  Please perpetuate Virginia's proud resistance to government tyranny & do not pass the TRAP laws.
