It is no idle speculation that  these silly, unnecessary regulations will force most abortion providers to close----in Mississippi, exactly that happened already. Of course it is the hidden intent of this measure to close the abortion providers, despite the fact that abortion is a legal procedure afforded federal constitutional protection.

It is bad policy for the Commonwealth's current administration to try to undermine federal law. It will be expensive in the end, both in women's lives and health (ironic!) and in defending against litigation.
