Although my ultimate goal is to see the abolition of legalized abortion, I am also concerned with the safety violations that exist in Virginia's abortion centers.  One of the television news programs I watch has a weekly report on restaurant violations.  I would love to see the news media publicize the abortion center violations, which might help to warn women of the potential danger they face when entering these facilities.  My heart goes out to these women who so often are duped into believing that they are just getting rid of some unwanted tissue, part of their reproductive choice.  We have a number of "walking wounded" women who suffer from emotional, as well as physical, scars from their "safe" abortions.

Please do everything possible to ensure the safety of Virginia's abortion centers to protect women who are unknowingly placing themselves in jeopardy.  Until the day comes when abortion is no longer considered a reproductive right, my prayer will be for regulations that at least educate women to the truth of what they are doing and then protect them if they choose to end the lives of their babies.
