Action | Regulations for Licensure of Abortion Facilities |

I urge you to reconsider these burdensome TRAP regulations on Virginia's abortion clinics. The regulations pertaining to building code place unfair requirements on these clinics, requirements which do not have to be met by other clinics performing similar risk outpatient surgeries. Virginia's abortion providers already must have admitting agreements with local hospitals, and already have health codes for safety of procedures. These regulations are unnecessary, and would only limit access for many Virginia women by causing many of our few abortion clinics to close because they are unable to meet the costs of upgrades.
Thank you,
