Gender is not a binary choice. It's not just about whether someone has a penis or not. Our government has no place in this area. If sports want to make criteria based on weight, height or other factors that can be measured to keep a sport fair, they can do that - not based on the size of a penis, which is what this petition implies. The vast majority of sexual assault and abuse comes from cis-gender males. Trans girls are girls not interested in assaulting other girls any more than a lesbian might be. Should we ban lesibians from toillets as well? Who decides? Are we going to measure testogerone levels? It is already so difficult to live as a trans girl when you were assigned a male gender at birth, that "real boys" are not going to "fake it" just to get into girls bathrooms!  Get real. Why isn't the petitioner concerned about trans boys being attacked in male bathrooms (much more lilkely)? Keep homophobia and the government out of bathrooms! Let the kids grow up to whomever they are meant to be. We have laws against assault or other misbehavior which can handle appropriate situations.
