I am trained in both Acupuncture(DAOM and L.Ac) and have taken the Dry Needling certification. When a large portion of a dry needling course covers how to document to save yourself from a malpractice suit, you know there is a problem. In my 8 years of Acupuncture training, I never discussed how to word things in a chart to avoid a lawsuit. Do you know why? Because we were taught safety first. That was not at all my experience with the dry needling courses.
