Several stories came out in 2011 about horrific and unsanitary conditions in abortion clinics in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland.   Similar stories about lack of emergency equipment, infection control,etc could very well be told about many of the clinics in Virginia.  Looking at the shoddy and unkempt outside appearance of clinics owned by Steven Brigham in Virginia Beach  and William Fitzhugh in Newport News makes me shudder at the probable conditions inside those facilities.  We desperately need strong regulations with regular inspections of abortion clinics in our state.
