Hello my name is Brandon I'm 27 years old and have been taking kratom for the last 4 years with no problems. At the age of 23 I witnessed my dad's suicide. When you see someone you love like that it's horrifying and changes you in many ways. I was diagnosed with ptsd, anxiety, insomnia, depression. The medication that I got from my doctor had many side effects, too many to list. Thankfully my mom's friend told me about kratom. From that day on I've been able to breath. I go to work everyday pay my taxes contribute to society in meaningful ways. Please reconsider this ban. It will only hurt people. Rather than banning it we should regulate it so vendors can't sell adulterated kratom. It really is no different than coffee. And as a matter of fact it comes from the coffee family.
