I earnestly hope that the recent abortion clinic regulations will be made permanent.  Adequate regulations are needed for women seeking any medical services...without making the recently enacted regulations permanent there is a greater chance for those like Steven Brigham -who was providing abortion services albeit facing suspension and revocation of his license in several states- to continue to practice. 

More fundamentally, I reject the notion that abortion services constitute health care and that ending the life of another [human being] constitutes a reproductive right.  Killing the lives of the weak and helpless [i.e. the unborn] is not a right.  The unborn have right to life just as much as I do.
