Please pass the most stringent regulations to protect women from lax medical practices.

As a registered nurse and a leader in the pro life community, I frequently witnesses questionable pracitces at abortion facilities in our state.  I am particularly concerned about the situation at Virginia Women's Wellness Center in Virginia Beach which is owned by Steven Bingham, a man who has been charged with 10 charges of first degree murder in Maryland.  Unborn children stored in jars at the age of 33 weeks of gestation were found when his facility in Maryland was raided.  The Maryland facility was filthy dirty and not up to any medical standards.   The Planned Parenthood facility has had a case where a woman had to be transported to the hospital after a botched abortion to control bleeding.  No authorities have ever entered these facilities.

Abortion facilities are not ordinary medical facilities and the personnel that are employed by them often have a history of difficulties with maintaining licensure for a variety of serious reasons.  Sadly, even in the medical profession there are bottom feeders and many of those that have low standards can find employment no where else other than abortion facilites.  Virginia Women's Wellness advertises for physicians "no experience necessary, any specialty, easy money etc.  No medical personnel that are capable of self regulating would seek employment there.

In the hospital where I work we always say that 5% of regulations are burdensome and 95% are good for patient care but putting up with that 5% means better outcomes for patients.  Please pass the most stringent laws possible to protect women.
