Unnecessary Regulations for VA Women's Healthcare Providers

The experiences of patients at current facilities has not shown that they are at greater risk becuase the hallways are not as large as those in hospitals, same for dentists and plastic surgery facilities.  These regulations are simply unnecessary.  Furthermore, when Virginia further restricts access to safe medical procedures through unnecessary regulations such as those currently under consideration, the need for those services is not decreased, nor is the ability of people with means to access those services.  The primary result is that abortion will become less safe when it has to go "underground" again as in the pre-Roe v. Wade days, or that people without the means to travel to obtain a safe and legal abortion will have unwanted children, putting the child and mother at great risk.  I urge our lawmakers not to enact these unnecessary regulations.
