Action | Regulations for Licensure of Abortion Facilities |

I support the need for abortion clinic regulations that treat every facility like a hospital setting.
I was present outside an abortion facility in Richmond when a young woman who was in obvious medical distress was brought out of the building in a upright, chair-type stretcher and loaded into the back of a truck. No ambulance was called. A car stood running outside the back door for a quarter of an hour before she was brought out and then she was unable to get into the car so they tried and were able to put her in the back seat of the truck in the parking lot. The doctor did not accompany her.
There is no doubt in my mind that these regulations need to be in place and inspections and audits need to be done. The sooner the better for the women who are subjected to this treatment.
Thank you.
