How can anyone object to the permanent implementation of medical regulations that protect women who choose abortion? History has shown that many women suffer severe complcations and sometimes death from this procedure, where the abortion center is not prepared to deal with the unintended consequences of the procedure. If the objective of abortion providers and supporters is to ensure that this procedure is available to all women who choose it, then choose to make it as safe as possible. Of course, implementation of medical safeguards will probably mean additional costs for abortion providers, but if they're really concerned about helping women, this should be a "no brainer"!
