This HAS happened over and over, but until recently, and largely because of regulations like this being considered, has been IGNORED by the main stream media.  Women DO die in unregulated clinics.  We don't want this to happen in Virginia.

The Family Foundation testified to the need for the permanency of these regulations, citing the example of Dr. Brigham, who owns abortion centers in VA and has been charged with murder counts in Maryland for ending the lives of children who were just weeks from being born (click here to read yesterday’s Virginian-Pilot article on Dr. Brigham).  He has also been linked to the severe injuring of women.  With new and strong abortion center regulations, VA will now be able to investigate and address these types of centers.
