Virginia must STAY IN RGGI

The Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative is producing positive outcomes for all Virginians, especially me. I installed solar panels on my house, and because of RGGI and the Renewable Portfoloio Standard, both part of the WINDERFUL Virginia Clean Economy Act, I am getting a check in the mail for my Solar Renewable Energy Certificates every quarter. This is a smart way to both incentivise solar AND incentivise Dominion and APCO to invest in more renewable sources of energy and divest fossil fuel energy sources. After reading the most recent IPCC report of March 2023, we MUST divest fossil fuels and move to sustainable energy sources, and Virginia’s participation in RGGI does that in a way that helps me pay for the cost of my solar installation.

Thank you for allowing me to comment on the proposal.
