Stay in RGGI

Everything we can do, both as a Commonwealth and as individual citizens thereof, to reduce pollution in the air, the land, and our waters is essential.  Sustainability is the responsibility we have to the future health of our state.  Wealth is not sustainable if it destroys health.  The growth model of our economy has already tipped toward destruction of our natural resources, which are necessary not just for survival but for us to thrive.  As water dries up elsewhere, will people move here?  And if they do, will there be enough clean water for everyone.  I don't need a science degree or data to support my urgent request that Virginia remain in RGGI.  Over the past 40 years, I've seen with my own eyes development reduce the natural world within our borders.  If we forego RGGI, no one will breathe easier.
