Repeal RGGI

This agreement was passed with no discussion or linkage to the economic viability of the new generation sources without Federal & State Subsidies - ie their ability to be viable on their own merits. There are no published or legally recognized time lines, when this will be feasible/possible.  As such, this puts Virginia at risk for the energy independence / resiliency we have had with the current generation sources for the last 40+ years.  Until such assurances can be made and economically demonstrated, this agreement should be repealed.  Please note, the overall effect of climate change on the environment is subject to much disagreement.

Please see Bjorn Lomborg  articles in the WSJ on the overall effect, and the UN's own models calling into question the position of many climate activists.

Net, this is a state Government boondoggle for the green industrial complex, nothing less.
