Please Extricate Virginia from RGGI

Please remove Virginia from the egregious RGGI regulation. Regardless of the boisterous rhetoric in favor of this atrocity the following are patently true:

1) It has cost Virginia citizens (either directly or by passdown or proxy) more than $500M in two years alone. Keeping this thing will more than likely nullify any benefit from the tax reduction initiative now underway. Ask yourselves 'For What?'.

2) Consider for a moment that Virginia generators and many of the industrial users are already moving away from coal and natural gas - and have been for some time.

3) RGGI will not lower CO2 emissions. Period.

4) It is simply bad policy to outsource Virginia energy policy to the whims of California. CALIFORNIA??? Has everyone lost their minds?

Please get rid of the egregious and pernicious policy.

Thank you for extending the opportunity to comment.
