Stay In RGGI

Virginia needs to stay in RGGI! I strongly oppose Gov. Youngkin's efforts to withdraw from RGGI.  We all know that we share the air with the other states in the region. It only makes sense that Virginia participates with other states to reduce pollution that contributes to climate change, and hurts air quality.  Pulling out of RGGI will not help Virginians and will only hurt regional efforts to cooperate in the future.

It is my understanding that Virginia has reaped financial rewards for its participation in RGGI, and those millions of dollars have been used for low-income energy efficiency programs, and flood relief programs.  So not only do we get the benefit of better air quality, we get to provide help to those in need.

Our elected officials need to comply with law; Youngkin included. Stop the unlawful efforts to withdraw from RGGI!
