I know many qualified voters who have terrible, almost illegible handwriting, my husband is one of them; most of our older relatives also have trouble writing due to arthritis or other aliments. How are the 'handwriting police' going to judge "sloppy" penmanship?!? How can you distinguish "sloppy" from "shaky" or 'scribbled' Many famous and not so famous people have signatures that are impossible to read. Are the 'handwriting police' going to give examples and lessons in how to pass the 'not sloppy' handwriting exam?!?
Please stop and think of how silly this idea really is.
