I strongly encourage the state of Virginia to keep our participation in the RGGI.  Virginia's participation in RGGI is a successful effort to reduce pollution while directly helping our diverse communities. RGGI has raised more than $370 million at this point in time and these funds help thousands of struggling families reduce energy bills and increase energy efficiency. It also helps provides funding for localities across the state to prepare for and protect against increasingly devastating floods.
