Please do not amend the VA regulations to allow homosexual couples adopt.  Adopting children is not a constitutional right.  “Having” children is a selfish oxymoron – you cannot have (i.e., “own”) another human.  Children come into this world and they are welcomed, cared for and loved, not “haved”.  If Virginia allows the adoption by homosexual couples, this great state will be another accomplice in the on-going attack to our families.  Remember that the natural family – husband, wife and children, is the core of society and cradle of human development.  Also, if you allow adoption by homosexual couples, you will force most religious organizations to stop participating in adoptions because of their dogma and conscience.  Virginia does not have the resources to shoulder this additional responsibility.
