I am proud to live in Virginia - a commonwealth that understands the rights of the people and the the proposed language that is being held for consideration is a direct attack on our Constitutional right to have free exercise of religion. If this passes, faith based adoption agencies will not be able to operate and children will not have all the opportunities currently before them to be placed in a loving family. Further, faith-based organizations are some of the biggest organizations working to ensure children have this opportunity. To ultimately shut them down because of the special interest of a few is myopic and will do significantly more harm than good.

Do not pass this language. I oppose the proposed language of 22 VAC 40-131-170.
