Against 22VAC40-131-170 Part B

If out of distorted sense of "fairness" the state forces Christian adoption agencies to go against their principles and place children in situations that are

more likely to result in their being harmed

, the state is violating its primary mission of promoting the common good of society. Nor is it fair or tolerant to force those who have serious disagreements about what is best for children to violate their consciences or abandon their chosen vocation.

Please do not make children suffer for the radical ideological agendas of a small minority of Virginians. They have options, and have no right to force others to agree with them. And do not force well-respected private organizations to close in order to maintain their integrity.

Thank you.
