Guidance Document Change: The guidance document "Model Policies Concerning Instructional Materials with Sexually Explicit Content" was developed in conjunction with stakeholders in order to comply with SB656 (2022).
The topic of LGBTQ+ is NOT sexually explicit and banning the materials discussing it is a total joke. Children need to feel safe to be who they are and in a PUBLIC school, erroneous religious beliefs hold no place.
