Forcing Individuals to Take Experimental Medical Treatments is Unethical and Illegal:

1. The ethic of informed medical consent includes the right of individuals to accept or to decline a pharmaceutical product or medical intervention.  This right has been universally affirmed as a human right by ethicists, medical societies, Virginia regulation, institutional patient bills of rights, and the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
2. Phase III clinical trials for the available COVID-19 shots will not be completed until April 6, 2023 (Pfizer/BioNTech), February 14, 2023 (Moderna) and January 3, 2023 (Johnson and Johnson).  This is still an experimental drug.  Even the Pfizer drug "approved" by the FDA is not the one currently in use in the US.  Experimental treatments can not be forced on unwilling individuals, ESPECIALLY children.
3. These are new pharmaceutical products and there are no animal studies or long-term safety profiles.  Specifically, it is not known whether these experimental products may cause autoimmune disease (which my own father's doctors have determined he is suffering from as a result of the vaccine - physician reported to VAERS and Pfizer), allergy, cancer, reproductive harm, or cardiac, vascular or neurodevelopmental disorders, and even death.  A dear friend who was a healthy 39-year-old died within 11 hours of his second vaccine dose from a cardiac incident.  
4. In June, 2021, the CDC reported a “likely association” between injection with the mRNA COVID-19 shot and heart inflammation.  The FDA subsequently required that a warning about myocarditis and pericarditis be added to the manufacturer’s insert.  Myocarditis and pericarditis are inflammatory conditions that can lead to cardiac arrhythmia and death.  Individuals have the right to decide whether the risks associated with this pharmaceutical product are ones they are willing to accept for themselves or their child(ren).

This treatment does NOT prevent the spread of COVID 19 and mandates ignore the very real protection provided the individual and the community from natural immunity:

1. Vaccinated individuals are capable of contracting the SARS-CoV2 virus and transmitting it to others.
2. Vaccinated individuals carry a similar viral load as unvaccinated individuals.
3. None of the treatments on the market prevent the virus, they merely lessen the symptoms for most of those who contract the virus
4. The natural immunity of those individuals who have recovered from COVID-19 has been shown to be robust and durable, and up to 13 times more effective than the treatment alone.

The Commonwealth of Virginia does not own the bodies of its citizens, nor does the Federal Government of the United States.  It is the duty of the Commonwealth to preserve the rights and freedom of the citizens that give it its power, despite what other short-sighted citizens may request.  My Body, My Choice.
