As a school nurse I see the impact that the pandemic has had on students and teachers in addition to the toll it’s taken on our communities. 

Mandating a covid vaccine for all eligible students once the Pfizer vaccine is approved would be a step in the right direction. Just as we mandate vaccines for measles, polio, tetanus, etc we should be mandating COVID protection as well. It will keep our schools and students safer and help get our state (& country) out of the depths of this pandemic.
