Be Sensible

I'm a 66 year old grandmother. I have 2 grandchildren in school here in Virginia. I had Covid last December. I'm a cancer survivor as well. I should be dead according to sensationalism. In reality what I experienced was a slight cold and fatigue for a week. I walk daily. I eat a healthy diet. Health prevention is more important than vaccinating kids against a virus the vast majority will have 0 symptoms from.

I'm vaccinated now. And I'm receiving a booster soon. I'm old. I should do these things to protect myself. I don't need children to protect me. As adults we protect them.

No vaccine mandate for public school children. If teachers are concerned, get vaccinated. If parents of eligible kids are concerned, get vaccinated. But stop the nonsense of forcing people. Especially a group that has had under 500 deaths nationwide in almost 2 years! More kids die from the flu. The flu vaccine was never required.
