| Action Summary |
Amends 18 VAC 41-20-200 to allow licensed and certified esthetics instructors and master esthetics instructors to teach the wax technician curriculum at waxing schools. The Board currently allows only wax technician instructors and cosmetology instructors to teach in the waxing program. Esthetics instructors are already trained to teach on hair removal in esthetics schools; the intent of this regulatory change is to promote consistency in the interpretation and application of the Board's laws and regulations. |
