The General Assembly passed and the Governor signed legislation requiring the Board to establish procedures for appealing the decision of the State Board or a local electoral board to not certify a candidate due to lacking a sufficient number of signatures. Additionally, new provisions determining what signatures must be counted were included in this language. The proposed regulation establishes uniform standards for determining when a signature is valid. |
