The quickest way to get individuals to stop going to the doctors, and hence parents taking their children to the doctor, is to report individuals private information to the state when they get sick with the flu or any other type of disease or disorder. This is also in direct violation of the Virginia State Constitution.
Also if the state mandates, without any type of exemption, vaccines for all people without considering cause and effect on individuals, this is also the fastest way to stop parents from taking their children to a doctor for any reason.
The flu is a virus. If someone goes to a doctor to diagnose the flu, the most a doctor will do is tell the person to go home, get rest, and stay hydrated, and stay away from others until they are better. The flu can kill, but rarely does, especially in the United States, and should not be considered a public health hazard.
I have never received the flu shot, and I have had the flu perhaps a dozen times in my life, and survived well. It is never fun to be sick, but this is one of many illnesses that the majority will recover from.
