I am in favor of the proposed clarification for laboratories with various sites not to have seperate licenses for each location they may have. Currently, the main office has their address affixed on the analytical license and does cause confusion on where the actual analysis was performed. Companies that have multipule sites in Virginia are subject to costs that could be avoided if this rule was clarified. Project monitoring reports for clearance reporting needs to be changed to reflect transparency between the project monitor and the laboratory. Sub-contracting between project monitors and laboratories should NOT be considered employment. Only full time employees of said laboratories should be able to read samples under their license and the companies idenity clearly marked on their letter head for results reported. This would strengthen current regulations that make it illegal for anyone to read samples under another company's license certification.
