I am opposed to including dental hygene duties to include scaling above and below the gum lines.  I believe this would add great risks to patients - I believe the current training required for dental hygenists is what we as patients expect.  The only people to gain from this proposed change is the dentists who will charge the same fee and pocket the extra money for inferior medical/dental care.  OPPOSE this change.
