Proposed anti-transgender regulation endangers all women

The proposed Regulations Governing Biological Sex Specific or Separated Spaces and Activities will harm all women and femmes, cisgender and transgender alike. Protecting cisgender women is not the actual goal; this is a transparent excuse for the state to police female bodies and legislate womanhood. The timing of the proposed regulation reflects the desperation of a lame-duck administration scrabbling for partisan approval. Realistically, the regulation is unenforceable except by vigilantism. Will the state government deputize gender inspectors to every sports league and public facility in the Commonwealth? Or is this regulation meant to legalize discrimination, sexual harassment, and assault based on random citizens' subjective perception of others' gender? And when cisgender women with short hair and broad shoulders are targeted, will they be collateral damage or intentional targets?
