I live in Loudoun County and I oppose Action 4905.
The conservative push against innocent transgender people is to cover up their own failures as an irrational ideology, and the push to legislate trans women out of existence is one with the intent of complete eradication of a group of people.
Conservatives push propaganda and lies against the entirety of the transgender community to cover up the fact that they want complete and utter slavery of women across the board -- the existence and freedom of the transgender population is an existential threat to their authoritarian future.
These "bathroom laws" are, in fact, explicit in their objective and intent to crack down on anyone who is not a cis man. Any attack on trans people will always, without exception, wrap around to harm anyone that the Right's cancerous ideologies seek to control or eradicate. Transmasc people and cis women are often portrayed as the "unintended target" on the way to conservative attempts to harm transfems, but those caught in the crossfire are the explicit aim, as well. In the indiscriminate firing line, the excuse given by conservatives is the fact that they paint the target on transfems in specific, as we are the easiest target, and most vulnerable to their hyper-funded propaganda campaigns. The objective is complete social control, and societal regression by centuries.
I am trans, and by my very existence, conservatives see their objectively evil aims for society threatened. In their attempts to hurt my people, I have seen everyone around me suffer, purely because the Right only desires to be cruel to as many people as possible. The cruelty is the point, as their desire to have an ever-present Enemy is a ploy to take eyes off of their greed, their ineffectualness, and their sheer inhumanity.
This proposed regulation has nothing to do with the health of Virginians and everything to do with discrimination. No one should face discrimination because of who they are. Trans people have always been here, and always will be. Trans people cannot and will not be erased. We will outlast you.
