I'd like to first say that I take solace in knowing that in these times of general political chaos and dysfunction, Virginia's elected officials are generally still working on serious and helpful legislation. As a near-lifelong Arlingtonian, I appreciate the many bipartisan initiatives and good-faith debates in our Commonwealth. It is exactly for this reason that I feel disappointed by proposed Action 4905. Please continue to focus productively on the many pressing issues which Virginians face instead of diverting your attention to matters like this, which only serve as hateful anti-LGBTQ+ dog-whistles. I oppose Action 4905.
