This change treats us like we’re trying to game the system rather than advocating for our child’s well-being. The focus should be on supporting families, not adding more bureaucratic layers. Requiring parents to submit extensive documentation whenever we request care assumes we don’t know what’s best for our children. That’s unfair and harmful to those of us deeply invested in their health. I’ve already proven that my child qualifies for this care. Adding more layers of documentation feels like a punishment rather than a partnership. The documentation process was a nightmare, delaying critical care for my child. It creates gaps where there should be continuity of care. We are stretched thin with therapy, schooling, and daily caregiving. More paperwork is the last thing we need. We need to focus on our child, not endless administrative tasks."
