| Purpose of the meeting A public hearing to receive comments on a proposed regulation providing a streamlined process for permitting electric generating units that use biomass as a fuel for electricity generation such that the emissions from the units in no way endangers the public hearlth. The sources covered by the general permit generate no more than five megawatts of electricity, or produce the equivalent amount of energy in the form of fuel, steam or other energy product. The proposal appears in the Virginia Register of Regulations on October 25, 2010. The public comment period begins on October 25, 2010 and ends on January 5, 2011. | ||
