Purpose of legislation
Authorizes DEQ to use (i) visual observations conducted pursuant to methods approved by EPA, (ii) data from certified continuous opacity monitors, or (iii) other methods approved by EPA to determine whether opacity requirements or opacity limits for air quality are being met.
