Request to participate in the RAP for the proposed action

Please accept this request to participate in the Regulatory Advisory Panel (RAP) to be seated by the Department to assist with the combination of the stormwater and erosion and sediment control regulations and attendant modifications to other regulatory programs in the Commonwealth.  My practice area primarily focuses on assisting municipalities, public and private utilities, and state agencies in the development and implementation of stormwater management and erosion and sediment control programs in the Commonwealth.

I understand the time and travel commitment serving on a RAP entails having served on the RAP for the 2014 reissuance of the VPDES Multi-Sector General Permit and am prepared to engage proactively and collaboratively with my clients, the Department, and other members of the RAP in this consolidation effort.

Our thousands of members and supporters live and recreate throughout the watershed and have important economic, professional, and aesthetic interests in the health of the James River and the impacts of pollution reductions from stormwater and erosion and sediment management.

Please let me know of any additional information I can provide, and many thanks for your consideration.

Best,
