As an HR professional I support the new standard. Codifying what must be done helps me protect my co-workers. Masking, temperature screening, and sanitizing led to a decrease in passing around respiratory infections last winter. I don't think it should apply only to COVID, I think it should be widened to cover all communicable diseases.
